BOOK NOW

Please remember that Tosa Pedrotti is a mountain hut and NOT a hotel. We kindly ask all our guests to adhere to the following REGOLAMENTO (rules of conduct) which we encourage you to read before booking.

Should you need any information not included in the different sections of this website, please feel free to contact us:

It could be as easy as this: please pay attention and be respectful of others as you do anywhere else.
It may be worth mentioning that failure to respect some “customs” could cause frictions and misunderstandings.

/ SHOES AT THE DOOR /

Upon entering the mountain hut shoes, boots (and crampons) must be left on the entrance deposit.

Anche sistemarsi nelle camerate richiede una certa discrezione: gli spazi del rifugio sono quello che sono e, se ognuno sparpaglia le proprie cose senza ritegno, ne viene fuori una Babele senza fine!

/ SILENCE IN THE ROOM /

When it’s time to hit the cot or to get up please remember that in the same dorm there are other people with different itinerary and to sleep schedule: please be quiet and exercise respect!

…and remember that in the hut some noise control instruments (boots, ice-axes, crampons) are always at disposal as are people not afraid to use them…

/ JOIN THE RANKS /

At the restaurant there are dining hours (ed sometimes turns) to be respected: cooking for many people at high altitude is not a “piece of cake” so it is good and right thing to help the hut manager and his team by joining others’ tables when necessary.

/ TELL US WHERE YOU ARE GOING /

Before leaving the mountain hut leave word of your destination or, better that that, write it down in the hut’s guestbook … you may never know.

/ PACKED MEALS /

Should you carry in your backpack a little salami to integrate your dinner or a packet of you favourite cookies to sweeten your breakfast, no one will ever tell you anything. That’s not the case when you only pay for your overnight stay and pretend to sit at the table with the others eating the food you brought from home!

/ TRASH POLICY /

Waste management in inaccessible locations is difficult, expensive and polluting (helicopters do not run on hydrogen…yet!) so please try to leve no trace of your stay by packing your trash back home. If you managed to carry 500 grams of cookies uphill you will be able to carry 10 grams of packaging on the way back!

/ LINER SHEET /

Mountain huts provide all the essential for a night of sleep (most of the times in dorms): a mattress, pillow and plenty of duvets.

There’s no need to bring your sleeping bag and mat but, for your and others’ hygiene please carry a sleeping bag liner.

/ FRONTAL LIGHT /

Since many mountain huts have a lights out policy at 22 when the generator is turned off, a frontal light is fundamental.

Frontal lights are economic so please bring along a low intensity frontal light with red or blu led so that you can go to the bathroom in the middle of the night without waking up the dorm.

/ FLIP FLOPS /

Flip flops are optionals but recommended.

It is forbidden to walk with shoes and boots in the mountain hut. We do have some flip flops at your disposal but usually “your number is out” :D.

/ TOOTHBRUSH AND TOWEL /

Not all mountain huts have showers but there’s plenty of water and restrooms sinks allow some saying up.

It is a good idea to bring your toiletries with you: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and a microfibre towel (lightweight and packable).

/ A BOTTLE OF GOOD WINE /

There’s no need to bring any cutlery from home, you only need to sit at the table and get served but if in your backpack there’s room for a bottle of good wine you’ll surely make the company happy!
